An essential component to any beehive, our telescoping metal cover goes on top to protect your hive from rain and the elements.
FOR BEST CARE: We recommend any wooden hive component surface that is exposed to the elements to be protected with exterior primer and paint before use. Only prime and paint the outside, NEVER the inside where the bees live.
Only paint the exterior wood; leave metal top as is.
