Spikes of high-impact, deep rose, tubular flowers held by burgundy calyces make a grand show rising above deliciously licorice-scented (and edible) dark green foliage. Like other Hummingbird Mints, Agastache ‘Morello’ is deer-resistant, drought-tolerant, and brimming with nectar for hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators. ‘Morello’ keeps up the show all summer long and well into autumn. Agastache is a genus of about 30 aromatic species native to central and eastern Asia, Mexico, and the United States. Careful breeding and selection have given us newcomers that offer exceptional garden performance and a long season of bloom. In full sun and well-drained soil, they happily shrug off summer heat and early frosts.
