Allium schubertii features fist-sized, rose-purple, spidery flower heads that are an unusual shape: a wide oval created by flower stalks of unequal length. The look is slightly otherworldly and very intriguing. Bulbs are suitable for forcing. Late-spring bloom. Heirloom, 1843. One per sq ft.
