Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Venus'

Sunny, 4", clear yellow flowers on relatively compact Heliopsis helianthoides var. scabra 'Venus' add a golden glow to borders and vases. The flowers are semi-double and full but not excessively so. We tuck this one into borders to add bright spots here and there.

This genus is native to North America and all its species are hardy and vigorous Sunflower look-alikes. If you like vibrant, sunny flowers and minimal care, you will love Heliopsis. They thrive in full sun and well-drained, even dry soil.
