The dainty, pastel-colored blossoms of Narcissus 'Fencourt Jewel' are quite possibly a literal manifestation of the word “enchanting.” The rounded, creamy white petals of this sweetly-scented Tazetta encircle a pale rose-pink cup for a tender and sophisticated tonal pairing that is as quietly captivating in gardens as it is in vases. Floral designers and those with spring wedding work, take note. Midseason.
Narcissus blooms are for many gardeners the first visible signs of spring. These vigorous, long-lived bulbs thrive joyously in sunny, well-drained places, are shunned by hungry deer and voles, and will thrive and multiply with little care on your part, creating a glorious landscape and a horticultural legacy.
