The Mennonite Community Cookbook

The definitive Mennonite cookbook for decades, first published in 1950. Discover simple, wonderful country cookery from the kitchens of Dutch, German, Swiss and Russian Mennonites across the country. While many recipes cannot be called "low-fat," this is honest-to-goodness, back-to-the-land cooking that uses none of the processed foods we rely on today.
